And here I was thinking I was the only one who watched the Black Donnellys pilot on my video iPod. 😂 I dug it, but I don't think I ever made it past that. Probably because the rest of the episodes weren't free.

Congrats on the anthology! Sounds like an excellent essay.

Sometimes I feel like the only person who saw it, so this makes me happy to hear (and on a video iPod, no less! lol). Thanks Jeremy!

I never watched TV on my ipod but fell back in love with it recently for similar reasons. Appreciate how this space honors the overlooked, the forgotten, the should've been. I didn't even know Angela Carter was working on a Jane Eyre sequel (?!) Will u post about it?

Steve thank you!! No current plans for an accompanying Carter/Eyre issue of Microfascination (though I never say never). It's funny though, my discovery of that book is probably one of the reasons the newsletter exists in the first place! I liked the idea of creating my own tiny corner of the internet for these little meditations and investigations in addition to the work I publish elsewhere.

There's sadly very little known about the Eyre sequel — I so wish we could have read it! I think this was the old blog post I stumbled across a few years back that sent me down the rabbit hole in earnest: https://bronteblog.blogspot.com/2006/01/angela-carters-adle.html
